Whether it’s happy hour, a weekend getaway or girls’ night, there’s an award-winning, ready-to-drink BeTini cocktail for everyone and every occasion. Be the “host with the most” by stepping up your BeTini game with glasses, garnishes and other tips for each expertly crafted BeTini flavor.
Martinis
Martinis are one of the most iconic cocktails in history, and our Pink Cranberry, Lemon Drop and Appletini flavors celebrate this classic libation. Shake BeTini in a glass filled with ice and then strain it in a martini glass to look like a pro. Garnish your Pink Cranberry cocktail with a lemon twist, your Appletini cocktail with a slice of green apple, and your Lemon Drop cocktail with a sugar rim and an edible flower, like an elderflower.
Tip: Store your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving your martini for an extra-chilled cocktail.
Trick: Squeeze the back of a lemon peel over the glass to release the lemon oils into the martini, then rub the peel around the rim of the glass. This enhances the aroma and brings a fresh zest to it.
Margarita
While nothing beats a traditional margarita glass, which showcases Mexican culture through the beautiful art of glassblowing, it’s not a staple in every home bar. If you don’t have a margarita glass, a classic rocks glass and even a mason jar will do. The most important part of a margarita? Salt the rim. Before you add crushed ice to your glass, run a lime wedge along the rim and then dip your glass in margarita salt. If you don’t have margarita salt, kosher salt on a plate will do the trick. To finish, add a lime wedge as a garnish.
Tip: If you want the margarita to look even fancier, we love salting just half of the rim. Or, you can use black salt or Tajín.
Trick: Add a pinch of cayenne to your rim for a spicy ‘rita.
Tropical Sunset
The Tropical Sunset, made with rum, is best served in a highball glass or hurricane glass. Don’t have either? Your standard 16 oz glass will do. What makes the Tropical Sunset shine is the garnishes. We love fresh orange slices (blood oranges for that Instagram-worthy shot), fresh lime slices and cherries. The pineapple, orange and guava flavors in Tropical Sunset pair perfectly with a squeeze of fresh citrus or fruit juice.
